Once you do that, you should be able to log in in the upper right corner of the page, and then join the wiki by clicking the edit button, and then clicking on the "join this wiki" link which appears.  You only have to do this once, and then you'll be able to edit the wiki whenever you wish, by logging in the upper right corner.

The "Ridge Runner" is a 'Wiki'. What is Wiki? Wiki is a piece of software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser. It is unusual among group communication mechanisms in that it allows the organization of contributions to be edited in addition to the content itself.

Like many simple concepts, "open editing" has some profound and subtle effects on Wiki usage. Allowing everyday users to create and edit any page in a Web site is exciting in that it encourages democratic use of the Web and promotes content composition by nontechnical users. It is a concept which allows for the free and open exchange of ideas, views and news by the entire community to be controlled by no individual or group. The technology is quite simple and many grade schoolers run their own wiki's - it requires no technical 'savvy' or expertise. Control of this site rests with the community and the original designer accepts no personal responsibility for any content past, present, or future - it is his gift to the community, belongs to the community and all residents have equal access and responsibility for content and maintenance.

To participate, login, then click on the applicable link in the 'SideBar'. The password is the second name of our community (all lowercase) plus our zipcode. Enter your information in the Directory, if you wish to be included.
